Mayday Bank Holiday weekend saw 47 units travel to Stoke Bruerne, Northamptonshire, famous for having the canal run through the village,  rather than around it.

A nice rally field on the edge of the village, next door to the child and dog friendly Navigation pub was our home for the long weekend.

A rather wet run up to the event meant a slightly damp gateway, which meant a quick dash across Northampton to get some straw bales, but the weather gods were kind while we were there, so everyone got on and off OK.
The competition for the weekend was decorate the picture of the canal boat, which saw some very imaginative use of grass and dandelions!
Even though it was a 3 nighter  it was over too quickly, but I think a few people will be returning to the C.L. in the near future.
