Chairman’s Message

As I start my second year as Chairman, it gives me great pleasure in welcoming Kerry, Jenny and Pete to the committee. Thanks go to Barbara and Carl, for their hard work in recent years, but have stepped down.

      I am continuing pancreatic cancer as my charity for a second year, a big thank you to everyone who has helped raise over £1200 last year, in these tough times that is a great effort and is really appreciated. 

          Please don’t forget, as well as our Facebook page, you can contact our web admin officer Tony, if you wish to promote your rally, or if you have any other information that is Centre related that needs communicating. 

    Also, after a year without a Rally Sec it’s great to have Jenny Weale in the role and I am sure she will do a great job. Remember if you come across any suitable venues for a rally, please forward to Jenny. 

       As ever, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments etc, either by email or on the rally field.

     Finally, I have spent over 10 years straight on committee, and whilst I have enjoyed every minute, I don’t want to outstay my welcome, so have taken the decision to stand down after next years AGM, so it would be great to have a Vice Chairman to seamlessly step-up to Chair next October. Please contact me if you think you could help run this great Centre going forward.
