Latest April 2022 Newsletter
Welcome to The Leicestershire Centre April Newsletter.
With the clocks going forward, and weather improving, spring is definitely
in the air which means our rallies coming around more often.
Please look to our website www.lccmc.org.uk for details of upcoming events. I know several are full, but please do contact the Marshalls if you are interested, as they may have a waiting list, and recently as have seen several last-minute cancellations.
Can I also ask you to take a minute to check out the centre rules on the web, most are common sense, but it doesn’t hurt to have a quick refresh.
Now we can have visitors on rallies, please ensure any visitors check
in with the Marshalls, and they are aware of the 5 MPH limit, and respect any parking requests.
Donington and Thornton’s Holt rallies went well, thanks to the Marshalling teams and centre members for supporting them.
The committee and I have made a start on planning the 2023 program, but we would still like to have a dedicated Rally Secretary, so if you think you can fill this role? please get in touch.
It’ll soon be time to think about the 2023 committee nominations and as there’s currently immediate vacancies including Rally Secretary, it would be fantastic to fill this position before the October AGM.
If nobody steps forward and joins the team for other positions, we foresee 2023 being the final year for the centre.
Hope to see you on a rally field soon, and once again, remember to keep an eye on the website www.lccmc.org.uk and also our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/leicscentre as more rallies are being made available for booking, and some are limited numbers.
Thank you all for supporting the centre, particularly during the tough time that covid dealt us, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Gary Brewin, Chairman, LCCMC. April 2022
