- A relaxed weekend rally at Moira Welfare & Social Club, The Moira Canal and River Festival will be at Moira Furnace over the weekend, where you can enjoy boat rides, food, drink and music. Day tickets are £6 per Adult & £3 per child per day. However if booked prior it has been arranged that this will be a weekend pass for the festival. (This will need to be confirmed/paid for by 1st May for weekend tickets) The Club bar and food are available for use over the weekend on site, with possible sequence dancing at the Club. Friday arrivals from 10am. Gates are locked at 11:30pm nightly.
- Sunday: car boot sale on site. Sunday lunch (£12 large / £9 small). Please indicate interest when booking — two weeks’ notice required. Departure by 11:00am if not staying for lunch. After 2pm if staying for Lunch. Nearby attractions include a Conkers Adventure Park (across the road.) Moira Furnace museum and country park. Local A&E hospital - Queens Hospital Burton upon Trent Belvedere Rd, Burton-on-Trent DE13 0RB
